<p>#1  Eat your breakfast</p>
<p>Breakfast is important so do not skip them. Your body has gone through 10 hours without food so it is time to give it some energy boost and jumpstart the day. Take 2 eggs, whole wheat bread with some peanut butter or high fiber cereals, yogurt, cocoa drink with some baby carrots will put you on the right start for the day. </p>
<p># 2  Drink lots of water</p>
<p>Pure water is what you should drink and not any other sweetened juice or carbonated water. The body is made up of 70% water so are other important organs. Take at least 8 glasses of water over regular hours of the day. Water is known to aid in weight loss and it is essential to have lots of them. </p>
<p># 3 Take an appetizer</p>
<p>Before lunch and dinner, have an appetizer as a starter. You can also easily make yourself an appetizer consisting of mixed salad with some light dressing. For a nice soup, go for the clear mixed vegetable soup or an onion soup. The idea is to help you to lose weight with the reduced calorie content of these foods you are taking. You may feel fuller by the time your main meal arrives. </p>

When I was little, almost every weekend after church, we would go to my aunt&#8217;s house and have lunch.That used to be the high point of my weekend. Times have changed and so have my weekends, however, the details of that are for another article. Anyways my Aunt not only loved to cook good food, but also loved, eating it and trust me, my aunt who was about 5&#8242;2, weighed around 80 kilos, until she made up her mind to start dieting, I heard her use the terms low-carb and low-fat, too young to know what she was talking about then, now I recall some of my young memories. For years now people believe that the key to successful weight loss is to have diets consisting of low-fat and low-carbs and high proteins; however this has been proven wrong! On the contrary the key to successful weight loss is to focus on calories by burning more calories than you take in. This was proven by a study carried out by a very prestigious university in Louisiana. So, all you enthusiastic people ready to see yourself with a six pack, I recommend exercise, starting with a 15 minute jog in the morning can help, not only lose weight, but also get your metabolism running all day long. Also eat several times, I recommend six times, keeps your metabolism running and keeps the calorie count low. And I also recommend fruits (especially apples and oranges!). So don’t rely on just dieting to lose weight properly, but rather put some muscle and work out those calories! </p>
